GUSTAV J. JOHNSON Gust Johnson aged 81 years, passed away on October 23, 2004 in Thunder Bay, ON. He was born in Lundar, and raised in Lillesve, MB. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1942 until 1946. Following his discharge, he settled in Fort William and spent his life there. He worked many years as a bush cutter. Gust was a generous caring man and always had a good story to tell. He will be sadly missed by niece Joan (Ray), nephew Tony (Orlene), also great-nephews, Kevin (Jona), Chris (Jenn), and their children. He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Hilma; brother Edwin; sister Violet; and brother-in-law Frank Welsh. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held in Thunder Bay. Gust will be resting with his family in Lillesve Cemetery.
